§ Mr. LangApart from the college principal, who is a member ex officio, members of college councils will be appointed by education authorities by 1 August 1990 after consulting such employer, trade union or other organisations as appear to them to represent interests relevant to the work of the college, and after considering any nominations by individual employers. I am sure the education authorities will scrutinise carefully candidates' suitability for appointment.
