§ Mr. Peter WalkerNo. Economic expansion and new investment are increasing earnings in Wales. Between 1988 and 1989 the average weekly earnings for full-time adults in Wales increased by 9.9 per cent., which was a higher increase than in six of the other nine regions of Great Britain.
