(2) if he will make a statement on the role of the national language unit in the implementation of the national curriculum in Wales;
when the national language unit was last subject to inspection by Her Majesty's inspectorate.
§ Mr. Wyn RobertsThe national language unit is one of the agencies involved in preparing Welsh language materials for the national curriculum. Grants have been given to enable the unit to employ development officers for Welsh and modern foreign languages including French. The language unit has not been the subject of a report by Her Majesty's inspectorate.
