§ Mr. SainsburyThe spouse of a British citizen applying for an entry clearance to settle in this country must satisfy the relevant requirements of the immigration rules; these are set out in paragraph 50 of HC 388.
Mrs. Pianov has not been refused a settlement visa. She applied for a visit visa which has been granted.
