Mr. Freeman

There were no formal representatives of the UK. However, Dr. Jeremy Metters, deputy chief medical officer, Department of Health, attended as chairman of CAHBI. There were in addition a number of independent participants from the United Kingdom at the symposium.

Papers and records of the proceedings have not yet been published by the Council of Europe. As soon as they become available they will be placed in the Library.
