To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will publish in theOfficial Reporta table showing the increase in manufacturing output less food, since 1973 and 1979, respectively, and the increase in the volume of manufactured imports.

The information requested on manufacturing output, less food cannot be provided without incurring disproportionate cost. Volume indices of manufactured imports can be found on the CSO databank, which is accessible through the House of Commons Library.
