Estimated inputs of radioactivity to the North sea from nuclear establishments are contained in the report of the "Quality Status of the North Sea" (1987), a copy of which is in the Library. Also, a European Community study known as "Project Marina", assessing 109W the radiological exposure of the population of the European Community from radioactivity in the north-east Atlantic has been undertaken; a report of which should be published in due course by the Commission of the European Community.
