§ Mr. AtkinsThe council's agents asked for our agreement to modify the timings at the pelican crossing here, and to set back the stop lines, instal overhead signal poles and increase the zig zag markings. We have already agreed to all those measures: formal authoritisations will be issued in the next few days. We have not agreed to the council's suggestion that the light source at this and other such crossings should be changed.
