§ Mr. Wyn RobertsThe proposed new arts and leisure centre at Llandudno was the subject of an application by Aberconwy borough council for support in 1990–91 as a project of regional or national importance. It was reluctantly decided that the project could not be accommodated within the package of schemes for assistance because of demands from competing schemes and the fact that it required such a high level of support from public sector resources. It is of course open to the sponsors of the scheme to come forward with revised proposals if they wish to do so.
