Information from which crude trade balances1 may be derived can be found in the Monthly Review of External Trade Statistics, available from the Library of the House, or on the central statistical office databank which may be accessed through the Library.
1 Crude balances slightly overstate deficits (or understate surpluses) since the value of imports, but not that of exports, includes insurance and freight.
