Several months ago 723W I made available to Welsh local authorities and business organisations a booklet "The New Business Rating System in Wales". Copies have also been sent to ratepayers in response to inquiries, and continue to be available from the Welsh Office on request.
§ Mr. Barry JonesTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales what is the new uniform business rate for(a) the national museum of Wales, (b) Theatre Clwyd, (c) the Deeside leisure centre and (d) the national stadium, Cardiff; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Peter WalkerThe uniform business rate for each of the hereditaments listed is 36.8p in the pound. This is the same as for all rateable hereditaments in Wales.
