§ The Prime MinisterI look forward to discussing with the Japanese Prime Minister ways of meeting the challenge of climate change, including action to mitigate the adverse effect of greenhouse gas emissions. However, this is a global problem requiring global solutions: the intergovernmental panel on climate change was set up to report precisely on this.
I am happy to say that there is very close, harmonious and productive Anglo-Japanese co-operation in that body and in other international fora dealing with these matters.
