§ Mr. MaudeThe Hong Kong Government are discussing with UNHCR the establishment of special procedures under the comprehensive plan of action for dealing with unaccompanied minors, with the aim of identifying the most humane and appropriate course in each individual case. This might mean repatriation where the child's parents or closest relatives are in Vietnam or resettlement elsewhere where the nearest family ties are overseas.
