§ Mr. MaudeMr. Reid has held the positions of Crown counsel, senior Crown counsel, deputy principal Crown counsel, and principal Crown counsel. Except for a period of 10 months in the post of assistant to the Attorney-General, his career has been spent in the prosecutions division where, until recently, he held the post of deputy Crown prosecutor. Mr. Reid was suspended from duty on 30 October 1989 following his arrest by officers of the Independent Commission Against Corruption for suspected offences contrary to the prevention of bribery ordinance.
