(2) if he will take steps to increase the number of speech therapists who are employed within the education service.
§ Mr. Alan HowarthDistrict health authorities are responsible for the provision of speech therapy services to local education authorities. It is for local education authorities to decide whether in addition they make available any provision from their own resources. Information about the number of speech therapists employed by local education authorities is not available centrally.
