§ Mr. Peter MorrisonNo. Responsibility for the research and development programme on renewable sources of energy remains with my Department and the222W energy technology support unit of the Atomic Energy Authority is responsible for the day-to-day management of the programme. The Secretary of State's advisory council on research and development for fuel and power has very recently reviewed and endorsed the Department's programme on renewables.
