§ Mrs. RumboldMy right hon. Friend has made it clear that there will be flexibility in the 14–16 curriculum, including scope for study towards vocational qualifications. He has asked the School Examinations and Assessment Council to advise him on the principles which might govern the submission by vocational examining bodies of qualifications for certifying parts of the national curriculum.
