To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list the dates of meetings of the Council of Environment Ministers attended by him or members of his ministerial team in the past 10 years.

I refer the hon. Member to the replies that I gave him on 24 January 1990,Official Report, column 728. In the period concerned, meetings of the Environment Council have been attended by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment or another Minister from the Department of the Environment who has represented the interests of the United Kingdom as a whole.
