§ Mr. GummerCarbadox is an active ingredient used in growth-promoting feed additives. It is not banned in the EC but is authorised, subject to strict conditions by the Community directive governing feed additives. This is binding on all member countries although no product containing carbadox is currently licensed in the United Kingdom.
