To ask the Secretary of State for Health what were the dates of the ophthalmic service committee hearings referred to in the Minister's written answer of 5 July 1988,Official Report, column 506; and what were the dates of the endorsements of the ophthalmic committee's decisions by Manchester family practitioner committee.

The ophthalmic service committee of the Manchester family practitioner committee considered the complaints without a hearing at its meeting on 20 April 1988. The FPC endorsed its recommendations on 25 May 1988.
