§ Mr. RyderGovernment Departments which produce commercial-style accounts are as a general rule directed to meet the accounting and disclosure requirements set out in the Companies Acts, except where it would be impracticable to do so—for example, the disclosure of called-up share capital which has no counterpart in the central Government sector.
