§ Mr. John Patten[pursuant to his reply, 8 January, c. 471–74]: I am sorry to say that there was an error of transposition in the table headed "Civil Defence Grant Aid Received by London Boroughs 1986–87". The sums of £29,279 and £94,582 shown in the "Staff" column for Richmond and Waltham Forest respectively should have appeared in the "Building" column. The amended table reads as follows:
