To ask the Secretary of State for Health whether the 1990–91 financial allocation to the South West regional health authority includes an element for public funding of the Cornwall air ambulance; and if he will make a statement.

No. The Cornwall air ambulance is a local service and funding is a matter for the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly health authority.
