§ Mr. Peter WalkerFollowing consultations with the Welsh local authority associations, arrangements were made for all households in Wales to receive, in November 1989, a bilingual Welsh Office leaflet on community charge benefit. Local authorities are free to supplement these leaflets with their own information. Regulations which I 639W shall shortly lay before the House will require Welsh charging authorities to include, in the material accompanying community charge demands, information about the availability of community charge benefit and how it may be claimed.
