§ Mr. Wareing
To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security what percentage of applicants for a social fund loan have received money advice(a) nationally, (b) regionally and (c) in each local Department of Social Security office area.

§ Mr. Scott
Information at national and regional levels in the period 1 April 1989 to 31 January 1990 is given in the table. Information relating to each local office could be obtained only at disproportionate cost.
