To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what are the reasons for the delay in the announcement of his decision on the review of Scottish lowland airports policy; and when he now expects to make it.

There has been no delay. Careful consideration is being given to the very full response to our recent consultation, and my right hon. Friend hopes to announce his decision before long.
