To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will make a statement on the community charge in Wales.

§ Mr. Peter Walker
The House debated Welsh local government finance matters on 24 January. I have no plans to make a further statement.

§ Mr. Coleman
To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will list the available proposed final community charge figure for Welsh local authorities.

§ Mr. Grist
Welsh local authorities are in the process of setting their budgets for 1990–91. Until that process has been completed, charging authorities cannot set their community charge. The figures requested are therefore not available.
