§ Mr. Allan Stewart
To ask the Prime Minister (1) what consideration she has given to the constitutional implications of different forms of local authority taxation being imposed on Scotland and England;
(2) what consideration she has given to the economic consequences of different forms of local authority taxation being imposed on Scotland and England.

§ The Prime Minister
The Government have no intention of introducing different forms of local authority taxation in Scotland and England. To do so would cause immense trouble in both places.
