§ Mr. TrippierI am advised by the Nature Conservancy Council that, by 31 December 1989, it had notified under the 1981 Act 1,853 new SSSIs and 3,251 SSSIs previously notified to local authorities under the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949.
