§ Mr. MacleanReports of outbreaks of natural transmissible mink encephalopathy in north America indicate that some may have resulted from the feeding to mink of scrapie-infected sheep material. In addition, research conducted in the United States has in certain circumstances transmitted scrapie-infected material from sheep and goats into mink experimentally.
