5Expenditure for which the Secretary of State is responsible is limited to the National Parks Supplementary Grant (NPSG), which is payable as a block grant. National Parks also receive funds from the relevant County Council(s) and other miscellaneous sources of income. Primary financial control is exercised by the County Council(s) since National Parks Committees are Committees of the Council(s).
