§ Mr. McGradyTo ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what plans he has for designating the parliamentary constituencies of South Down and West Belfast as Industrial Development Board areas of local initiative on the same basis as Carrickfergus and Derry district council areas.
§ Mr. NeedhamI have recently agreed that the IDB should lead a special development initiative for the areas of South Down and South Armagh. Work is already progressing on the "Making Belfast Work" initiative and the constituency area of West Belfast is included in that initiative.
