To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will make a further statement on the progress of his housing flexi-ownership scheme.

§ Mr. Grist
On 30 November 1989 the Development Board for Rural Wales announced that it was ready to accept applications for flexi-ownership. Since then there have been 87 firm inquiries of which 21 have become formal applications. This represents a very encouraging start.
