To ask the Secretary of State for Health whether the new Halifax general hospital will be built within the current timetable.

Subject to the determination of its capital programme by the regional health authority, the project for the new Halifax general hospital, now known as Calderdale district general hospital, is programmed to start on site in December 1992 and is due for completion in December 1995.
