Mr. Meacher

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security if he will update the figures given in his answer of 3 March 1989,Official Report, column 365–66, to the hon. Member for Livingston (Mr. Cook) on the level of total Government support for families with children, at 1989–90 constant prices in each year since 1970 to 1989–90.
