§ Mr. Douglas HoggThe results of the latest (1987) annual census of production indicate that Japanese-owned 255W companies had 0.22 per cent. of employment in manufacturing industry in the United Kingdom. The figures for gross output and net output respectively were 0.45 per cent. and 0.21 per cent.
