§ Mr. McLeish
To ask the Secretary of State for Employment if he will outline the steps being taken to minimise the cost of paying management fees for unfilled places on YTS and employment training.

§ Mr. Nicholls
Management fees are not paid for employment training places. Under current YTS rules, there is provision for recovering management fees for unfilled YTS places. This is done wherever appropriate.
