To ask the Secretary of State for Transport whether he has any further information from British Rail as to what its decision will be concerning the proposed reopening of the Luton to Dunstable line for passenger traffic; and if he will make a statement.

The British Railways Board is still appraising several options. It tells me that a decision will be taken soon.
