HC Deb 08 February 1990 vol 166 cc756-7W
Mrs. Dunwoody

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a statement on the inquiries made by his Department into the decrease in the amounts of radioactive material being sent for disposal to the official low-level waste site at Drigg, Cumbria.

Mr. Trippier

My Department is making no such inquiries, but I am advised that the radioactive waste management advisory committee is reviewing the general question of low-level waste disposal.
