§ Mr. NichollsTrainee choice will be widened under the new arrangements for youth training, to be run by training and enterprise councils from spring 1990 onwards. These arrangements will in themselves widen the range of training opportunities and offer higher level qualifications. The Government have no plans at present to give training grants directly to young people.
