To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will launch an initiative to encourage moves towards Palestinian self-determination.

Mr. Waldegrave

We support Palestinian self-determination and are closely involved in current efforts to promote a dialogue between Israel and representative Palestinians, as an important step towards a settlement.
