§ 85. Mr. DykesTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he is satisfied with the progress being made in the EEC Council of Ministers on preparations for the December 1990 intergovernmental conference of the Community; and if he will make a statement on current proposals to augment the terms of reference and scope of the conference.
§ Mr. MaudeThe Strasbourg Council noted the Commission's intention to submit, before April, a composite paper on economic and monetary union. The ECOFIN Council on 18 December 1989 asked the Monetary Committee to undertake further work and report in March. Our EC colleagues and my right hon.
