To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs when he will next meet the Peruvian ambassador to discuss the destruction of the Amazon rain forest.

My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs has no plans to meet the Peruvian ambassador for this purpose.
