Mr. Barry Jones

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what assistance he plans for the housing authorities of Wales concerning rent arrears.

Mr. Grist

Rent arrears is a housing management issue and I look to councils to resolve it. I stand ready to consider any realistic proposals that the Council of Welsh Districts (CWD) cares to put to me to promulgate good practice.
