§ Mr. NichollsThese regulations will be enforced by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and local authorities as part of their continuing programme of visits to premises. Responsibility for implementation of the regulations rests with industry. The HSE has been working closely with industry organisations and employers to encourage them to develop guidance for their members as well as promoting the regulations by a variety of means including national and trade advertising and the distribution of introductory leaflets.
