HC Deb 05 February 1990 vol 166 c505W
Ms. Harman

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what are the latest figures for the number of people who were disconnected from their water supplies in Scotland.

Lord James Douglas-Hamilton

This information is not held centrally. A water authority (regional or islands council) would disconnect a domestic household's supply only for operational reasons. These would include repairing leaks, making connections and lining pipes.
