To ask the Secretary of State for Energy if he will make a further statement on the timetable for commissioning and the future of Sizewell B power station in Suffolk.

Mr. Baldry

The Government attach the highest importance to the completion and operation of Sizewell B by Nuclear Electric. The commissioning of the station will be a matter for the company.
