Mr. Heathcoat-Amory

I am informed by the National Rivers Authority that its 1990–91 budget identifies activities estimated to cost £1.282 million which are aimed specifically at conservation of flora and fauna. Further costs incurred in the course of carrying out tasks whose primary aim is not conservation cannot at present be identified.
