§ Mr. FreemanThe Department's social services inspectorate has carried out a number of exercises to monitor the implementation of the Act. The findings of an inspection of the operation of all sections of the Act in force, and a more specific study of the progress of six authorities towards implementation of sections 5 and 6, are due to be published shortly.
