§ Mr. Michael Forsyth[holding answer 25 January 1990]: I discussed the Sport 2000 report with Professor Raymond Miguel, chairman of the Scottish Sports Council, on 20 October 1989. As the document points out, sport has an important contribution to make to the health, social fabric and economy of Scotland.
